Welcome to Dockitty! By downloading or using the Dockitty app (the "App"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
1. Who's Behind Dockitty?
Dockitty is developed and maintained by Lazare Kolebka, an individual company (sole proprietorship) registered and operating in Brussels, Belgium. All references to "we," "us," or "our" in these terms refer to this business.
2. What Does Dockitty Do?
Dockitty is a small macOS app that adds a charming animated cat to your Mac's Dock. It reacts to things like file drops, time of day, or your settings. That's it—no signups, no ads.
3. Your Use of the App
You're free to use Dockitty on your personal Mac(s). The basic app is free to use, and there's an optional one-time in-app purchase, Dockitty Forever, which unlocks premium content or features. That purchase is handled entirely through the Mac App Store.
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, modify, or tamper with the app.
- Sell, redistribute, or reskin the app.
- Use it for illegal or abusive purposes.
For normal personal use—just enjoy it.
4. In-App Purchases
All payments are securely processed by Apple. We don't receive or store your payment information. If you have an issue with a purchase or want a refund, you'll need to go through Apple Support, since we don't control the payment system.
5. No Warranty
Dockitty is provided as-is, without any guarantees. We try to make it stable and fun, but we don't promise it'll be bug-free or always compatible with every macOS version or setup.
You use Dockitty at your own risk—but don't worry, the app's pretty chill.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lazare Kolebka is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may result from using Dockitty—like lost data, device issues, or cat-induced distractions.
7. Updates & Changes
We may update Dockitty from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. We may also revise these terms as needed. If you continue using the app after an update or a change in terms, you're agreeing to the new version.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, and any disputes will be handled exclusively by the courts located in Brussels. We hope it never comes to that, though—if there's an issue, reach out and we'll do our best to help.
